Today I woke up happy! I looked to be a clear sky day! It didn’t take too much effort to get Isaac out of bed to got for an early morning walk, stretch and prayer on the beach. Special prayer for Maggie as she is flying from Idaho to meet us this afternoon. Big girl!!! Continue reading

Day 2 – ULB (Cold Day at the Beach and Jacob Maxwell)

Exploring on foot. Exploring on a bike. Trying to get into the vaca mode still…..No much to say. Except…So, we don’t have cable at home. So, here at the cabin we have indulged ourselves with one show to watch last night and tonight… The Voice. Only to see our friend and local dude, Jacob Maxwell’s performances. And tonight was an emotional ride. Wow!! Continue reading

Shabbat Travel

I always stress about what I post about how we spend our Shabbats. Why? Probably because I don’t know who all my audience is and how things will be received. I know that Scattered Israel is all over the board when it comes to how we are to spend Shabbat. Some people get pretty nit-picky and judgmental about it…. Continue reading

Plum Pitt Disorder?

A few weeks back, after talking with Bruce in Costco, my symptoms were bad enough that I decided to make an appointment with the ear, nose and throat doctor that we used to take Hadassah (who happens to be Bruce’s doctor, too). It was going to be over $500 to see him as a new patient. Cash. Out of my pocket. UGH! Frustrating. Continue reading

Today

Entering the mall today I was quietly disgusted at the pagan holiday coming up and their traditions for it. I remember getting my picture taken with the bunny when I was about 5 years old. I was terrified. There is an old photo of me crying as I sat with the bunny. I hate the bunny! Continue reading

Lovely Monday (Day 2)

I never thought of doing this before, but it’s pretty cool! So, if you need help remembering who you are in relationship to Papa or if you need help remembering that Passover is coming up or if you need a reminder for a new thought that you want to take captive — set some alarms with a phrase that will spark you into action! πŸ™‚ Continue reading
