Went shopping with the girls because the apartment complex kicked us out for half the day so they could put sealant (chemicals) in our breezeway. Hmmmm…..Why the hell does everyone have to smother chemicals on everything! I HATE it! I want to be in control of my living situation!
My Friend Heidi!
Oh well, ran into my friend Heidi while shopping for swimsuits for next weekend’s get away with Isaac (that the Ladies of Teshuvah bought us!!!). Love her! 🙂
So, I’ve been moving strawberry plants, grape vines, lavender and raspberry plants from place to place until we move into a home when I can plant them in the ground. These are plants from our time at the tipi. I love them and feel like a pioneer who is carrying plants across the country until I can give them a home. 🙂 Today we picked up a load at a friends house. They were wintering there …. now I can get them for my porch. 🙂 This wandering has been super hard on the plants, just like it has been on us. Someday soon, we will have a home of our own. 🙂
Stopped by the library to blog…. 🙂 Reminds me of old times last year trying to find internet. I’m so very thankful for easy internet at the apartment. 🙂
A Downtown Walk
Mags and I went on a chilly walk while Hadassah was in dance class…. and look: she’s on the phone! LOL!!! We were trying to find a little cafe’ to duck into for an hour, but alas, this town hasn’t changed. Everything seems to close down around 6pm (except the bars, of course). So we ran back to the truck to get warm. 🙂
Dropping by for a Visit
It’s not often that we “drop-in” on each other anymore. My parents used to take us “visiting” after church on Sabbath when I was little. People don’t do that anymore. So, today we practiced this ancient skill. We went to see my sister-in-law and her pups and kitty during our “walk” for a few minutes! 🙂 Love her colorful flowers!
Flowers from a Trucker
Found out Isaac was nearby — so after dance brought him a warm cup of soup and he had a bouquet of yellow flowers for me! 🙂 Couldn’t take him home with me as he is still working. Perhaps he’ll be home tomorrow. This is my big WHY that can handle any HOW. I want to bring our family back together. Join my quest here at: http://www.thebetterlife.com/i-uslajs
