Day of Friends

Liz and I in Costco πŸ™‚

First day of the year and I got to spend it with some friends!

Ran into an old friend (Liz) in Costco. Her daughter, Denny and my Maggie were good friends in grade school. Both our girls are artists and dancers. Haven’t seen Liz since we were living in the tipi. She calls me a rolling stone that doesn’t grow moss! πŸ™‚

Fun fact about Liz: she used to be a Rockette in Vegas. πŸ™‚

Do I Like April or Not?

I love the dark sky behind the light on the trees

It was super cloudy, rainy and cold today. Check out the super dark sky and sun that lit up the hill behind the apartment this evening. I want to call it “Awful April” because so far it’s just been cold and rainy, but I will refrain from saying anything. LOL! πŸ™‚

Tea with Girlfriends

Had a tea date with a couple of Torah-keeping girl friends: Karen and Kim at a local coffee shop! Super fun to hang out for a couple hours just letting the conversation roll wherever it willed.

Kim, me, Karen and Hadassah at our tea date!

Voice Lessons Ahead for Me

My voice was strained after our tea date. This is not good. If I’m going to use my voice for business and ministry I need to have it strong. So, I’m officially entering vocal training as of this evening with Per Bristow. I have a lot on my plate, but I’m excited for the challenges. Lots of new things coming our way.

Update on Jacob Maxwell’s Battle

Got to see a replay of local boy Jacob Maxwell win the Battle in The Voice last night! So exciting for him!!! He did great! πŸ™‚
